Code of Conduct (for Players/Coaches/Refs/Parents)


U6

· Size 3 Ball

· Shinguards (required)

· No Jewelry

· Soccer Shoes (optional...wet grass gets slippery in tennis shoes)

· 3 Players on the field at a time w/a coach

· Sub every 5 minutes

· Out of bounce balls are kicked in

        (kicked out on the goal line, kick in from corner) (kicked out on sideline, kicked in where went out)

· No goalkeeper

·
Parent Duties:  2 parents per team will help with goals and nets at the beginning and end of each season.

U8

· Size 3 Ball

· Shinguards (required)

· No Jewelry

· 4 players on the field at a time w/referee

· Coaches on sidelines: Do not coach by the Goal end.

· Coaches/Parent will time game for subs (every 5 minutes)

· Players sub every 5 minute:  Coach/Parent times for 5 minutes.

· Ref will time game for game duration and half time.

· 20 minute halves

· Out of bounce balls are throw-ins or goal kicks

· Goal Kick off - Opposing team stands behind the mid-line during a goal kick.

· No goalkeeper (player should be out of the box and moving with team)

· Ref will be assigned to games

       (Most often U8 games will have a New Ref that is training, be helpful and patient with them)

· Handballs are explained by ref and play is awarded to the team at the site of infraction.  If infraction is in front of  the goal, the ball will be placed between the half mark and goal for restart.

· Kickoffs must move forward

· No slide tackles

      · Parent Duties: 1 parent from each team MUST flag the side line for balls out of bounce.
      · Parent Duties: A Parent will time the game for 5 minute subs...Ref will time the game start/half/end
      · Parent Duties:  Work Concession Stand shift

U10

· Size 4 ball

· Shinguards (required)

· No Jewelry

· 6 players on the field at a time w/referee

· Coaches on sidelines

· 25 minute halves

· Sub as needed with permission of the referee

· Goalkeeper (every player learns this position)

· Off Sides are called by Ref

· Kickoffs must move forward

· No slidetackles

· Parents Duties:  Work concession stand shift
· Parents Duties:  Help flag on the sidelines to assist the ref

U12

· Size 4 ball

· Shinguards (required)

· No Jewelry

· 8 players on the field at a time w/referee

· Coaches on sidelines

· Sub as needed with permission of the referee

· Goalkeeper (every player learns this position)

· Off Sides are called by Ref

· Parents Duties:  Work concession stand shift
· Parents Duties:  Help flag on the sidelines to assist the ref

U13 +

· Size 5 ball

· Shinguards (required)

· No Jewelry

· Scrimmage vests will be provided to this group during sessions...players are responsible for taking care of vests and will replace/pay for damaged vests.

Developmental Division

  • Skills Training Tuesdays 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
  • Scrimmages Thursdays  6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Depending on the number of players that show on those nights, will determine how players are broken up into break-out groups.

Goals will be to develop:

· foot skills

· first touch

· field vision

· leadership

· 11 v 11 format
